Chicago; The Broadway Musical

August 26th, 2008

While Celebrating 30 was a little depressing, due to the numbers just getting higher and higher, but everyhing basically staying the same.  I’m beginning to wonder truly, Am I really gonna count the days or just focus on enjoying myself till whatever.  I’ll take the latter.

With cool aid smiles and attitude to match, I propose to Jo that we should check out a Broadway Musical.  The first for both of us.  She agreed, and why wouldn’t she.  After a morning at the spa with massage and facial pampering, she was going to agree to anything.  (I should have took advantage of that :) )

We arrived in the city around 6pm and checked out TKTS, a mobb scence if you ever witnessed one.  Got the tickets for the evening showing, and headed to grab a bite before the show.  One thing I must say about NYC’s Broadway, the place is packed 24/7.  The saying is true about the city that never sleeps.

The show was a very wimpsical play.  Not recomended for children.  While the actors were adorned in scantly, barely visible clothing, it was not a distraction.  The routine was orchestrated and beautifully performed.  We recommend, if you want to enjoy yourselves, that Chicago be your first musical.
