Another Lost, another friend…

Junior on the far left

We’ve lost another friend of ours to a Motorcycle Crash on Sunday night.  Junior, who is the first from the left, lost his endless struggle to become a better man, a better father, a better son, a better husband, and last but not least, a better rider.

Junior was all talk.  A brother that will never let you take a corner by yourself.  All he ever wanted to do was ride.  He’ll call me up a thousand times to ride in a given hour.  He was always into his game, into his love, into his passion.

Sorry to say that on that beautiful Sunday night, we all found out that despite our passion for a good ride, death always cathes up to us when we least expect it.  In all aspects of it all, its never fair, and it will never feel right, never.

There will be a Candle light Visual for him tonight at DRA’s clubhouse.  Please keep posted for more info as they come in.

Update 7/25/2007

Many Clubs came out last night to show their respect to Junior’s Club and his Family.  Supreme Ryderz was on the scence and more photos can be found on their site at www.supremeryderz.com  Please check it out.

Humanity’s efforts

July 13th, 2007

We exist in this time, We live for today with the blissfull dream thats there’s a tommorrow.  We have the knowledge of the past, our history, that guides us and helps us not to repeat the same mistake again.  But, as human beings, is that of any concern to the actions and inactions of today.

We live in New York and the most recent incidents that plagued the city has left more than a sour taste in my mouth.  It has left a feeling of hopelessness and a sad truth that this is and always will be Humanity’s greatest efforts to survive, and that in itself is an ultimate Struggle.

I’m pertaining to the recent shooting of two police officers in Brooklyn NY that resulted in a 4 state chase and capture of 3 fugitives.  The efforts, not only from the Law enforcement but from local citizens, like you and me, made it a easy and collective parnership to bring these guys to justice.

What bothers me is that we have no sharing of that collectivness to move on for tommorrow and put these incidents, such as this one, aside.  We all run to help in an instant when things go wrong and thats not something negative.  It shows how well we care.

But why are there 3 felons on the loose prowling in brooklyn like they shopping for candy.  2 lives are snuff out, and many more affected by the actions of individuals that should have been off the streets in the first place.

Incidents like these depresses me.  As long as we as human beings can commit to doing harm to another in such a manner, Humanity will be lost, or probably already gone.  I’m not saying that maybe we should take or do away with all the negative but the fact that this type of behavior exist bothers me.  Maybe Im looking a little deeper into it.  If we all posess those behavior as to taking the life of another in an instant, how can we live?  How can we survive?  How can we move on?
